Coffee & Matching Umbrellas.

That’s what started this.

While visiting a market in my old stomping grounds in downtown Phoenix, I stopped at a coffee cart. It was crisp with a vintage flair - set up to make any coffee drink you could want. Surrounding it were aisles of vendor stalls, all with matching tents and umbrellas, full of people walking in and out - all smiles and full arms of the treasure they just picked up.

I have lived in Tucson for the last 15 years, and I love it here. I wouldn’t want to raise my kids anywhere else; the perfect mix of city life and wild.

But I missed this.

The love that goes into every booth at a market. The hum of people being together. The good food. The unexpected treasures. The coffee.

I needed this as much as I knew Tucson needed this, so Tanque Verde Market was born.

My goal is to create opportunities for community and connection. With local businesses, and with each other as East side residents and neighbors.

I want to give you an experience. One that celebrates the high caliber of talent and beauty that surrounds us, with an equally beautiful market environment.
